Description: Major redevelopment of complete Wedgwood Site at Barlaston including visitor experience centre and external works.

The Wedgwood factory is one of the oldest of its kind in the world, founded in 1759. The historic site and its museum’s ceramic collection was under threat of being sold off in 2014 but was saved by a fundraising appeal of £15.75m in just 33days, including a £5.1m grant from the Regional Growth Fund.

80% of the paintwork was sprayed in the factory areas using specialist equipment including harnesses and powered access. The remainder of our works were completed using traditional brush and roller techniques.
